Are you looking to refinish or white wash your dining table? I've just finished redoing my dining table, transforming it from a dark wood to a modern rustic grey finish. I will walk you through how I refinished and white washed my dining table.
This easy DIY project just takes a little bit of time and patience. I finished this in 2-3 days, allowing time for the layers of paint to dry. Chalk paint dries pretty quickly, which is something I love about it.
Here are the tools you will need:
- Chalk paint in a light colour (I use Mango Paint's Quinley colour)
- Clear and Natural Beeswax finish
- Behr wood stain (mine is the colour Classic Grey)
- Gloves
- Lint-free cloth
- Sanding block
- Drop cloth for under the table
