King Charles has been presented with The Honours of Scotland during a coronation ceremony in Edinburgh.
During the thanksgiving service at St Giles' Cathedral, the King was presented with the symbols of his authority in Scotland - the Crown, the Sceptre and the Sword of State.
The service, was also attended by fellow royals Queen Camilla, Prince Charles and Princess Kate and was followed by a noisy 21-Gun Salute which was fired from Edinburgh Castle as the royals left the cathedral.
Large crowds stood strong along the iconic Royal Mile to cheer and wave at the King’s procession en-route back to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The King’s visit to Edinburgh finished with a stunning Red Arrows flypast over the city’s Royal Mile.
