MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) A preliminary hearing for the New York man accused in a double murder in Whistler is scheduled for March 3. As of 12 p.m. February 5, Kiyonta Moffett remained behind bars.
Moffett was arrested in January, charged with murder for the deaths of 22-year-old Charnesha Penn and 33-year-old Roderick Reed. The two victims were shot and killed while sitting in a car near Warren Street in Whistler.
The car ended up in a ditch. The two died on the scene.
