Are you trying to find the Anomaly after a community event? This video shows you how to find the anomaly in No Man's Sky. I always have a problem, especially after the community events, and completing the Atlas Path mission will force the Anomaly to "reset" and appear in a system with you. You still have to warp between a few systems to get it done but the Anomaly normally won't appear unless you have a mission that includes it. I use the Atlas Path mission because it never truly goes away.
