ഷോലവാരത്തു കോളിളക്കം സിനിമയുടെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് അപകടത്തിൽ ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ പൂർണമായി തകർന്നിരുന്നു. അപകടത്തിൽ ഇതിഹാസ താരം ജയൻ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു . 1982 ൽ കൊച്ചിക്കടുത്തു നടന്ന ഹെലികോപ്റ്റർ അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ടത് അതെ ഹെലികോപ്റ്റ്ർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നത് ഇന്നും ദൂരുഹമായി തുടരുന്നു
Malayalam actor Jayan killed in a helicopter action scene in the movie Kolilakkam at Madras on 1980 November 16. Completely destroyed helicopter was not fit for service again. But this helicopter involved in another accident an year later near Kochi. It is still remains as mystery how the helicopter got the permission to fly again with same registration number
