As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Bush School, on Jan. 30, 2023 the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs presented “New Perspectives on George H.W. Bush from Former White House Senior Staff” at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

The event was moderated by Executive Professor Andrew S. Natsios, Director of the Scowcroft Institute. Joining Professor Natsios was a panelist of former White House senior staff members during President Bush's time in the White House – David Q. Bates Jr., Andrew H. Card (virtual), Fred McClure, Roger Porter (Virtual), John Sununu (virtual), and Chase Untermeyer. The group spent the evening discussing their personal experiences as part of the White House Senior Staff during the presidency of George H.W. Bush.
