My first design of an attic lift in my garage. It works well but I found I need to align one of the pulleys better and figure out something so it will self align as it goes up into the ceiling. I also plan on adding insulation between the top and bottom of the lift, adding plywood on the sides between the top and bottom of the lift, also adding safety chains for the cargo. I may end up getting a new Harbor Freight winch since the one I'm using is really load and old.
I will do a follow up video with more details once I have all the bugs worked out.
