The most important news in Argentina today is the death of Jorge Videla, a dictator who ruled this country during the decade of the seventies. The claim for justice made by the civil society to judge Videla for all the crimes and horrors committed during his regime was finally taken into account under the governments of Nestor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández, for which the genocidal was finally tried and sentenced to jail. He died as he was precisely serving a jail sentence in an ordinary prison.
