You are asking yourself how to find and replace words in Word? That's quite easy! I am going to show you how to find and replace your desired words and your are also going to learn the keyboard shortcuts.
Procedure:
To find words we need to go to the "Home" tab and in the section editing we need to click on "Find". Alternatively we can use the keyboard shortcut "CTRL + F". Then we just need to enter the word that we want to find and Microsoft Word will show us all instances of the searched word. To replace words we again need to go the editing section but this time we need to click on "Replace" or we need to use the shortcut "CTRL + H". In the new window in the first line we need to enter the word that should be replaced and in the second line we need to enter the replacing word. When clicking on "Replace" we will need to approve every single replacement. To avoid this, we can simply click on "Replace All".
Why all that?
Sometimes we are writing a long document and realize afterwards, that an entered information is wrong but this information is used multiple times. It would be possible to search for the each instance of that information separately but why should we do that, when Word can easily find all of them and replace them?
This tutorial for #find and#replace in #Word should work for Word 2007, Word 2010, Word 2013, Word 2016, Word 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
