Moving audio files is an essential aspect of editing podcast episodes.
It allows you to bring in different files, mix intro and outro music, and create a unique audio experience.
The main tool for moving audio in Audacity is the “Time Shift” tool.
The Time Shift tool allows you to move a selected audio file or audio clip around on your timeline.
Simply select the clip you want to move, drag the audio where you want it, and release your mouse or trackpad.
You can also move the audio to a new track by creating a new track and using the Time Shift tool to drag your audio clip to the new track.
