(21 Apr 1994) Shortly after Peres arrived in Bucharest on Wednesday, he had five hours of talks with PLO leader Yasser Arafat who had arrived earlier in the day. Peres said "We feel we are close to a conclusion. We are trying to finalise the last stage of our agreement."
