As much as 20 million of the world’s rural poor rely on coffee production for their income. However, poor management can threaten the sector’s sustainability and thus the livelihoods of many people. This video shows five key ingredients to sustainable coffee production. It is based on FAO’s cross-sectoral approach for Sustainable Food and Agriculture (SFA) which integrates the environmental, economic and social aspects of sustainability.
