On September 15, the Centre told the Supreme Court that they cannot accommodate Indian undergraduate medical students who fled from Ukraine due to the war. In its affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, the Union Ministry of Health raised some serious issues. Ministry also said allowing such transfers would also seriously hamper the standards of medical education in India.
