In this video we inspect and replace the prop-shaft coupling, which is also known as a torsional flexible rubber disc, this forms part of the vehicle’s driveline. This part is commonly used in many rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations to transmit torque from the transmission, to the driven wheels. If any deterioration of the flexible coupling occurs this will result in driveline vibration, which can increase in intensity under acceleration.
