I was fortunate to meet this enthusiastic male Magpie-robin in a singing mood. It flew from one branch to the next, singing a short tune on each perch, as if testing the acoustics from each position.
To be able to enjoy the sweet singing of the Oriental Magpie-robin is heaven indeed.
Although its existence was once under treat from the pet trade, the Oriental Magpie-robin is now doing very well & is a common resident in Singapore.
