The journey of recovery begins with a clear diagnosis and a plan to heal. We see the progression of a patient who experienced a failed bipolar hemiarthroplasty due to a proximal femur fracture. The pre-op X-ray (left) shows the dislocation and instability, a result of the implant's failure and the accompanying fracture. On the right, we see the post-op X-ray after a successful revision with a long stem bipolar hemiarthroplasty implant and fracture fixation.
