I took a quick ride today to do some fishing and test out my new ActionCam on the bike. I just have the one camera, so I took footage from two angles on the way to and from the pond and just cut everything together in Premiere. The clips are not in sequence by a long shot.
I found out right away why the helmet or chest mounts are preferred for this type of footage. With the rigid handlebar mount, even with steady-shot enabled, the vibration of the bike is evident. It's noticeable at idle, let alone riding down pothole infested back roads. All things considered, though... I think it did a hell of a job.
