This video shows you how to set Polar Ignite 3 display to Always on mode. Choose Always on if you want the screen to dimly show the time when it's inactive. Please note that the Always on selection will drain your battery much faster than the default setting.

It is also possible to enable backlight always on during training; Just swipe down from the top of the screen and change the backlight setting from Automatic to Always on.
