Watch this Bali vlog to see exactly what you can expect when attending a local Balinese ceremony. This is not just any normal ceremony this was a Cremation Ceremony called Ngaben.

This Indonesian ceremony took place just off of Bali Island, on a smaller island called Nusa Penida, and it was in the village of Pelilit what is located near to the famous Diamond Beach.

The Balinese culture is extremely peaceful, and was a fun day learning about hinduism. There are many Hindu Temples in Bali and was special to get to have access to one.

Nusa Penida Bali is a beautiful place to explore with breathtaking beaches and scenery. However it is worth getting involved into the community to really see how the Indonesian Culture works, so you can appreciate the Bali island more.

It is the community in my opinion what makes travelling so rewarding, learning about new ways, traditions, religions and lifestyles. It opens up your mind so much. For some getting involved might feel like a culture shock. However the more time you spend in the local community the more you will become cultured.

Bali also known as the island of gods, has a lot of culture heritage and it is worth spending time exploring some of the islands wonderful temples.
