Want to discover one of the smallest countries in Europe? Come and visit Liechtenstein!

Because of its tiny size, it is not unusual for Liechtenstein to go unnoticed in the European landscape. This last monarchy of the former Germanic Confederation is 160km² and has 11 municipalities and app. 39'000 inhabitants. Located between Austria and Switzerland, the principality, which celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2019, is not very well known even though it is one of the richest countries in the world. Visiting Liechtenstein is also going back to childhood in the life of the famous heroine with braids, Heidi. Moreover, a part of the country is nicknamed Heidiland, a region of tourist mountains straddling Switzerland.
