The Cluefinders are on an adventure in Egypt for their Summer Vacation. They help their friend Professor Botch open the tomb of the Peribsen, a king from the second dynasty. but Sir Alistair Loveless is obsessed with the legend of Set, the Ancient Egyptian Embodiment of Chaos, and Joni Savage gets an ancient Ring stuck on her finger. The next day the tomb was robbed but they didn't get everything. the kids find a scroll that was hidden in a room uncovered by Socrates; the Cluefinders' Mascot. They cant read the scroll so they head back to Cairo to find someone who can translate it. They meet a 5000 year old Antique Dealer who can try to help translate the scroll. however the scroll was written in an ancient code so they need Cairoglyphs to help translate the code.
