FM Humza Yousaf says Scotland would be better off Independent as the UK is the Poor man of Europe.
Humza Yousaf has suggested Scottish independence could lead to households being £10,200 better off than in the UK, saying such a change would not happen “overnight”.
In a speech at Glasgow University, the First Minister referred to a report from the Resolution Foundation looking at income inequality in the UK compared with other countries.
He branded the UK the "poor man of north-west Europe" and claimed it was lagging behind neighbouring European countries and the US.
