Last weekend we decided to walk from St Mammes to Moret - two small villages near Fontainebleau well known for their beauty and being a subject of Sisley paintings.
And what can I say - the area definitely deserves a visit! Walk along the Seine and canal de Loing is simply amazing - very relaxing and calm, and bridges, churches and boats you can see along the way just add to the feeling!
Highly recommend this walk as a weekend trip!
And, as a bonus - if you have a daily/weekly/monthly Parisian Metro pass for zones 1-5 - you do not even need to buy any additional rail tickets. Both cities fall withing the rail pass coverage and the trip is absolutely free to take!
