If you want experience a rural part of Portugal’s countryside that does NOT see many tourists, this stretch along the Tejo River, about an hour outside of Lisbon, has incredible places to visit. This is a travel vlog from one night and one day of our trip heading inland from the coast of Portugal to the heart of the interior region.

It is an awesome experience to visit these places by train from Lisbon. The train travels along the river for most of the way and you can get out to explore towns on foot before continuing the journey.
