Keysight's channel sounding solution consists of two major software components, signal generation with coded channel sounding waveform (N7608C), and vector signal analysis with channel sounding extension (89600 VSA). Combined with multiple hardware platforms, you can easily decide how you characterize the channel from RF to mmWave frequency bands, what channel bandwidth to use, and how many channels to utilize. Channel sounding solution can be used multiple scenarios like (1) 6G research and development (100 GHz-300 GHz bands) (2) End-to-end calibration (amp/phase vs. frequency), (3) 2-port network measurement. In this video, a 6G testbed is also demonstrated with frequency 144 GHz and 4 GHz wideband signal, and how Keysight can use our channel sounding solution to characterize the channel response in both frequency domain and time domain.
