When painting outside there seemed to be some many moving pieces. Paper and kitchen towel blowing, paint here, water over there, brushes and pens everywhere. I needed to simplify my setup to make plein air painting or urban sketching more enjoyable. Being a beginner I didn’t want to spend too much money on a new hobby. After some research and some testing this is what is working best for me. What do you use when doing art outside? Anything that I missed that you think I need?

I enjoy learning from experts but also other beginners. I find sometimes experts forget what it is like to feel so beginner. As I enjoy consuming content from other beginner artists I thought I would throw my hat in the ring. I have learnings to share and want to hear from you. Building our knowing together.
