Battle scene from The Lost Battalion (2001). It's 1918 and a battalion of U.S 'doughboys' are surrounded by the Germans in the Argonne forrest. For five days they held out and finally repelled the Germans. Out of all the WW1 movies I've seen, this is by far my favourite. Rock Schroder stars as Major Charles Whittlesey, who was one of the three Medal of Honour recipients from the battle.
