a tired, but quick, inability to hold fingers precisely on frets cover of "suzanne" by hope sandoval & the warm inventions ! i personally find her bavarian fruit bread album to be so affecting & beautiful, both sonically & lyrically.
unpopular opinion: i think hope's solo work with colm from mbv is better than anything mazzy star has ever released. yes, i know this may be blasphemy to some, but it's my truth & i confidently stand by it ..
also, i find "fade into you" so trite & overrated .. sorry .. but people need to fawn over their other records, other than so tonight that i might see !
just know that i was in a lot of pain & it was keeping me half-awake for this cover. i was having a little spike of inflammatory finger joint pain while switch between chords (i am fine now !) also meant to post this a while ago, but just didn't bc shyness
