In this acrylic painting tutorial I'll show how to paint a Palomino horse in acrylics. Painting realistic horses is all in the layering process and the brush technique. Through the use of acrylic glazes I adjusted the colour in stages. When painting a Palomino horse capturing the beautiful colour is something that will drastically effect the finished painting. Mixing the exact colour we see in the reference photo as each layer can be stressful so in this tutorial I'll show how to use glazes in between the detail layers. This can be a much easier method of colour matching whilst always focusing on the contrast to ensure more depth and 3D shape is painted in the subject.
** With 10 hours of real time tutorial on Patreon with an in depth voice over whilst painting I show how to paint a Palomino horse from the first base layer to those final details :). **
