Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Chelmsford on the Great Eastern Main Line where services are seen by Greater Anglia along with some freight!
Chelmsford was definitely the most enjoyable station I filmed at during my stay in Essex, it had a lot of character about it and proved another example of a small 2 platformed station that is very busy so is a big liability when it comes to disruption. I found the curves to add to the coolness of this station as well as the fact that the approach from Colchester is so nice when stood on the Colchester bound platform. I did nickname this station 'The Electric Bath Spa'
