Ather has been pretty generous with its warranties and offers some of the best electric two wheeler warranties in India today.
One. Ather not only covers the battery for three years, you can extend that coverage for another 2 years. It's the only battery plan we know of that even covers deep discharge where the battery is destroyed by extended periods of the scooter lying without being used.
Two. Automotive batteries are considered good as long as the total state of charge stays over 70% and this is what the Ather warranty covers up to 5 years and 60,000km. Remember that if you have a 450 Plus, the last 2 years are an extended protection you must purchase for Rs 7,000. Some older Ather models will not have access to this extended coverage program though.
