The European Union hosted a "More Than Food" tasting experience from 29 January to 1 February 2020 at one of the largest shopping centres in Jeddah City, Red Sea Mall. Mall visitors enjoyed a sampling menu of seasonal and authentic EU food and beverages, including balsamic vinegar from Italy, apples from Poland, olive oil from Spain, among other products. We have launched a campaign to promote EU food and beverage products in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, more particularly in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. We collaborate with food enthusiasts, bloggers, and chefs from the region to produce videos explaining why EU products are safe, authentic and of high quality.
