Wayne Gretzky is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who is widely considered to be the greatest hockey player of all time.

He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 20 seasons and won four Stanley Cup championships. Gretzky's incredible scoring ability and playmaking skills earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including the Hart Memorial Trophy (NHL MVP) nine times.

Off the ice, Gretzky has continued to be involved in the sport as a coach and executive, and he is also known for his philanthropic work.
