I just recently picked up a DeWalt DWS780 miter saw paired with a RIGID mobile miter saw stand for some projects I am working on and I am very happy with this saw. The amount of accuracy I have been able to achieve with the "XPS cutline" feature (light over the blade) has been awesome. I am very pleased with this feature and I feel it is 100% worth the extra $100-$150. The saw is fast to cut even with the stock blade. Overall I couldn't be happier.
The Rigid miter saw stand has also been working out great. Having this saw on a stand that basically folds into a hand truck has really helped me move the saw quickly between my different work areas and make an otherwise big awkward saw easy to move around. The extending arms to hold long boards work really well and they are easy to adjust. For the price this thing is great and I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing about it.
The sliding feature of the dws780 has also been great. Being able to cut 14 inch boards without having to fire up my circular saw/table saw saves me tons of time.
If you're looking for a saw to do crown molding, trim or just basic jobs around the house you can't go wrong with this setup.
Thanks for watching guys
