I keep getting asked what saturators I use for mastering 🤔

I don't actually use any at all 😳

I just find that it can be overkill...

I'm using loads of emulation plugins, and I'm also using hardware 🎛

I find I've got enough saturation going on naturally without adding more ❌

I know if you haven't got a load of gear or you haven't got bits of kit

Then you might want to add a bit of saturation 🤏🏼

IF I WERE to use saturation, it would be more something like a tape emulator.

I like the ATR 102 from UAD, I tend to use that more as an EQ 👍🏼
