The basic form of a sun salutation is a great way to open the body in all different directions while maintaining a sense of flow and ease.
This sequence starts with a standing pranayama designed to empthasise two of the five vayus. In my practice, I started with this, and then naturally flowed from one posture to the next according to the needs of my body.
Over a few weeks, the sequence refined itself. Even now, it's slightly different every time as I listen to my breath and body and do what's needed in the moment.
I trained with Shiva Rea in 2010, and some of this sequence comes from what I learned from her.
The practice is speed up four times, and I left the audio as is because you can still hear my breath through some of the practice. Breath is everything!
