Following on from our request about parsnips this week we decided to do a little trial on this years possible crop. We are sowing Guernsey, White Gem and Palace F1 each have been sowing the same compost which is peat free and organic but not crap free sadly but all 3 have been sow in a different way just to see have they all get on. We have not had a issue in the past with the germination but we have had issue with canker as they grow. We also sow Cabbage Brunswick and Ruby Perfection which is a red and Rainbow Mix Radish. We also have a package from one of our subscribers and give a shout out to those that gave parsnip variety suggestions, many thanks to you all.
