Loy Krathong 2024 - and Yee Peng festivals - come and celebrate with us in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Loy Krathong festival (Loi Krathong) involves floating a small raft down a river, usually made of bamboo leaves and flowers, or into the ocean or a pond, washing away past troubles and seeking a new year filled with good fortune. Also celebrated is Yee Peng (Yi Peng), the lantern festival. It's loud and crazy! Check it out with us. No place celebrates these holidays like Chiang Mai!

For those of you wondering where we have been for the last 6 weeks with no videos... well, first the flood hit us hard. Literally homeless, both Joy's house and my condo surrounded by over 3 feet of water. And then... we got married! So lots of planning went into that and we are just back from our honeymoon.
