Learn how to turn some fabric scraps and a string of Christmas lights into this neat lighted garland! Perfect use for all those string scraps you have or ribbon scraps or use yardage for this. Any material you choose is sure to make a unique garland unlike anything from the store!
What you'll need:
100 count strand of Christmas lights
fabric or ribbon*
rotary cutter or pinking shears
cutting mat and ruler
zip ties, twine or yarn
strong fingers that's up to tying lots of knots
I cut my strips into 1" wide strips and 6" long. You can make them thinner or wider and longer or shorter.
*If you want to use yardage for this, you'll need approximately 1-1/2 yards of fabric total (I used 3 colors, each 1/2 yard).
*If you want to use ribbon, plan for about 50 yards of it.
