Elections Chairman George Garcia said Monday, Nov. 4, that Comelec will continue accepting certificates of candidacy until Nov. 9, despite Senate President Francis Escudero’s plan to push for a delay in the 2025 Bangsamoro parliamentary elections.
Garcia, who arrived in Cotabato for the start of the COC filing period, said only a legislative act could alter Comelec’s schedule.
