We rented bikes from Flume Trail Bikes in Incline Village and bought a shuttle pass from them so we could get a ride to the trailhead. The entire ride is just under 13 miles. We rented regular mountain bikes but plan to rent mountain e-bikes next time, the first four miles were brutal! The Flume trail is absolutely unbelievable, if you are thinking about biking this trail, do it!! We cannot recommend it enough!
