What’s the best tool to apply advocate marketing and implement customer storytelling?
According to Deena Zenyk and Liz Richardson from Captivate Collective, customer advocacy is a practice, not a platform.
The practice of customer advocacy is different from your platform because the platform is only the channel through which you’re executing your strategy of the practice.
Your best practices sit outside the platform and inform how you execute on your plan.
You can love how a tool engages customers, but don’t let the tool limit your advocate strategy.
Don’t create a strategy based on the platform.
Create a strategy that is based on the needs of your organization and the desires and engagement style of the audience you’re trying to build a relationship with.
Customer needs first.
Business needs first.
Combine that for a strategy, then choose the tools that will support that strategy, and not the other way around.
