On-chain analysis is a way to value Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) and predict its future price movement by looking at data we can extract directly from the blockchain. Remember, we can view things like number of active addresses and number of transactions, etc. pretty easily. But then people have built models and ratios on top like NVT ratio, RHODL, MVRV z-score, SOPR, Reserve Risk, Puell Multiple, and much more! Then we can overlay historical price action on top to get a sense of when price is overvalued or undervalued relative to the network utility and other usage metrics. This is more of a fundamentals approach compared to Technical Analysis and chart trading. That’s why I’m a huge fan of On-chain analysis and have to share with you what it’s all about in this video!
