BAD NEWS For Toyota RAV4 Owners!

On Wednesday, Toyota announced it would be recalling nearly 1.9 million RAV4 small SUVs in the United States to address a problem with batteries that could shift during hard turns, increasing the risk of a fire.

Some RAV4s manufactured between 2013 and 2018 are included in the recall. Some SUV replacement 12-volt batteries have smaller top dimensions than others, Toyota noted in a statement. The business warned that the battery could shift if the hold-down clamp wasn't tightened properly, leading to a short circuit between the positive terminal and the clamp.
