After visiting Bay Street Emeryville, Ikea, and Powell St Plaza, I was able to catch a Transbay Gillig on Route 36 back to West Oakland BART. This is my very first time riding a Transbay Gillig on a local bus route. These Transbay buses are originally supposed to be for Transbay routes such as the F or O, but they also run a lot on several local routes in the East Bay. Overall this was a quick and smooth ride, the operator even make a several minute stop to use the restroom and still got to West Oakland BART a bit early, as there was barely anyone on board. These Transbay Gillig are more comfortable than the local Gilligs, they also sound a bit better.
