Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, 26 kilometres from Almora, and is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. On top of the Jhandi Dhar hills is where it is.
In 1988, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary was established. This reserve forest has a total size of 47.04 sq. km. and is situated at an elevation of 2270 m.
The Chand monarchs, who controlled Kumaon from the 11th to the 18th century, used Binsar as their summer residence. Binsar served as the country's designated summer capital during the British era while there was a base at Almora.
The ideal months to travel are February through May and October through November. Entrance fees are as follows: Rs 150 per person, every day; Rs 75 for students; and Rs 600 for visitors.
$250 for small, $500 for middle, and $800 for large vehicles are the entry fees.
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
