(28 Jul 1977) Already many of the French haute couture designers have shown their autumn and winter collections, and throughout the different shows fur fashions and exotic eveningwear have dominated the scene in Paris this year. Flowing garments have held the stage this year disguising natural curves, yet at the same time emphasizing the free movement of the body through the use of weightless fabrics. Hanae Mori's collection was viewed and the show struck a delicate balance between fantasy and reality by introducing the imaginative and avant-garde along with the more conventional and elegant.
