International Day of Education was observed globally on 24 January, with this year’s theme focussing on “Changing Course, Transforming Education”.

In the Pacific, SPC’s Educational Quality and Assessment Programme marked this international day with a 10-day campaign by highlighting important information related to education in Pacific island countries.

Michelle Belisle, Director EQAP, summaries the work around this year’s education day by focussing on the efforts and achievements of PICs in delivering quality education despite combating the impacts of the pandemic in 2021 and provides a snapshot of education related activities that can be expected in this new academic year. #educationday #PacificEducation
