TASCAM (TEAC Professional) US-16x08 USB Audio/MIDI Interface and Microphone preamp - unboxing (sort of) and initial software (for Windows) installation and impressions.
When I was shopping for a 8+ channel USB interface, I couldn't find any user-reviews of the TASCAM 16x08 on YouTube. I decided to take the plunge and buy the unit and here are my initial impressions. I'll provide a more detailed review later when I've read the (new) reference manual and played with the software more.
I see now that each input/channel does in fact have its own EQ and compressor settings (as one would expect), that's what the "Analog X" buttons actually do.
