In his first budget address, Vijay Daryanani highlighted the activity at the airport, with 44 services per week to a record nine UK cities this summer.
The Minister for Business, Tourism and The Port cited a number of marketing campaigns in the UK and in Spain, implemented to attract visitors to the Rock, and including a dedicated radio programme on Cadena SER radio featuring Gibraltar which will air soon.
He also said the Opposition undermine and damage every attempt by the Government to lead Gibraltar to economic recovery.
Mr Daryanani spoke of his ambitions for Gibraltar's tourism industry.
